Vision into reality - achieved

Over half term, work began to complete the next stage in the improvement to our site, an area of meadow land, enabled by Jesus College kindly allowing us to fence off a parcel of their land. Along with the new fencing, an all weather path and artificial grass will be laid to allow access around the school field and outdoor learning areas at all times of the year. This project is the latest in a series of improvements to the site to which we have been aspiring for 5 years. After much planning and fund raising a new Reception classroom and entrance area were opened in 2011, along with new PE changing rooms and improvements to our swimming pool area. Further developments followed with outdoor learning areas and a new climbing frame being installed for the children to enjoy at playtimes; new paths and gates ensure safe access and security for all our users and recent planting has enhanced the appearance of our front entrance. New windows are soon to be fitted to the hall and plans are well underway to develop our front garden into an area for prayer and contemplation. All these improvements have been enabled by the incredible generosity of individuals and local organisations who have donated money or helped in funding the projects, the PTA's continuous fundraising efforts and parents and friends of the school who have donated their time, resources and professional expertise. The school is very grateful to everyone who has helped us achieve our vision.
