National Anti-Bullying Week – 16 – 20 November
Next week is National Anti-Bullying Week. We will be observing this in school through our Assemblies and work in class. The theme for this year is ‘Cyber-Bullying’ which our Year 6 children will be looking at in class. On Wednesday, parents of KS2 children will receive information sheets explaining all about Cyber-Bullying and offering guidance for you at home.
We are designating Friday 20th as ‘Blue Friday’ and we would like to encourage all children to come in school uniform, but to also wear something blue as well. Perhaps a ribbon, a pair of shoes or even a scarf! There will be a charity collection on the day for Childline so children may like to bring in a £1 ‘fine’ which can be handed to their class teacher during registration that morning.
